THA 301A BD - Tap Dance:Techniq & Cult Perspectiv

This course, for students with little or no knowledge of tap dance, spans the development and place of the form from its early roots in the Americas of 1600 to the present. It combines pedagogical study of the multi-cultural elements of this art from participatory studio work to build basic understanding of music, movement and cultural sensitivity.
