An experiential and community-based survey of native religious traditions, exploring the breadth and depth of spiritual expression among native people in North America, with particular emphasis on the Anishinaabe bands of Wisconsin. Important themes include sacred landscapes, mythic narratives, oral histories, communal identities, tribal values, elder teachings, visionary experiences, ceremonial practices, prayer traditions, and trickster wisdom. Course Fee: $40 Prerequisite(s): Completion of COR 1 or COR 199 or COR 199 in progress; two full-time semesters of college credit, excluding retro credits, AP credits, and college credit earned while in high school.
