Digital citizenship is the continuously developing norms of appropriate, responsible, and empowered technology use. In this course students will examine how technology plays a role in their lives, impacts society and ways in which they can use technology and multimedia to create a more just and compassionate world. Topics of study will include but not be limited to: Digital divide, net neutrality, cyberlaw and intellectual property, Information Literacy, and accessibility/universal design. Technical skills in research and podcasting will be taught in this course. This course does not meet any General Education requirements. Cross-listed NO
