This course explores the social context of health, well-being and illness. We consider the importance of one’s social position in shaping status, power, bodily control and resources, as well as the influence of social structures and cultural practices. Prerequisite(s): Completion of COR 1 or COR 199 or COR 199 in progress; two full-time semesters of college credit, excluding retro credits, AP credits, and college credit earned while in high school.
