COR 230G 2 - HEALTH AND SERVICE IN CAMBODIA

The Cambodia Program provides a trans-cultural experience through pre-immersion classroom instruction during the fall semester. Students study Cambodian culture, history, environmental influences, and local religions; and their impact on health and well-being. Discussions on the history and ethics of global health are woven throughout the program, as are connections to Catholic Social Teachings and the Dominican Intellectual Tradition.

No online registration. Students must apply and be accepted into the course in order to be approved for registration. Students must successfully complete both COR 230G (Fall) and COR 231G in order to receive the COR 2 requirement for this sequence.

Edgewood COR courses provide an integrative framework for students to understand themselves, become aware of the needs of the world, and develop the gifts they have been given to create a more just, compassionate, and sustainable world.  Cross-listed GS 270  , NRS 270
