This course dives into the enduring wisdom of Thomas Aquinas, as applied to contemporary issues and cultural artifacts. Each semester, we take a unique lens—be it books, art, science, ethical dilemmas, or existential questions like ‘What is happiness?’—to explore the relevance of Aquinas’ thought today. Drawing from across the liberal arts, we will find that there is something for every profession at this intersection of ancient wisdom and modern life.
