This course highlights occupational therapy theory and rationale of competency-based assessments and interventions for physical, developmental, sensory integrative, perceptual/cognitive, and psychosocial impairment as it applies to children and youth and their families. Application of pediatric frames of reference to specific problems within the framework of the multicultural family are topics presented.
