This course focuses on the fundamental uses of networks and the applications which utilize them. Students will be exposed to the core protocols, topologies, and tools of the Internet through the use of the OSI and TCP/IP protocol stacks. This knowledge of the Internet is then used to explore key applications and uses of the Internet such as the Web, E-mail, and DNS.
