This course will introduce students to techniques for designing, planning and assessing curriculum using instructional strategies for diverse learners. Students will be exposed to the role of cognitive processes in learning and how cognitive processes and learning strategies vary for elementary, secondary, and higher education students. Students will become familiar with how to utilize appropriate metrics for course design efficacy. Students will also understand the importance of analyzing the training needs of staff from a leadership perspective and defining appropriate outcomes for training/learning.
