This course explores the power of storytelling as a tool for social justice. Through presentations of art, both digital and in person, as well as interviews and oral history projects, students will examine how narratives shape understanding, challenge societal norms, and inspire change. Hands-on projects, including creating exhibitions, will engage students with important social justice issues, amplifying marginalized voices and fostering compassion. By blending visual art, personal narratives, and collaborative storytelling, this course empowers students to become agents of change in their communities. Cross-listed ART230
