BUS 951  - Policy & Ethics Healthcare

This course provides students with foundational knowledge of key issues, concepts and tools applicable to health systems operations. Topics covered include evidence-based medicine (EBM) and value-based purchasing (VBP), management and analysis of health data and quality of care, project management, lean and process improvement, and scheduling and capacity management.  The course will also focus on healthcare policy and economic implications on operations as well as ethical and social considerations.
