NATS 130 - Energy in Society Minimum Credit(s) Awarded: 4 Maximum Credit(s) Awarded: 4
This course uses questions about how our society generates electricity and powers transportation to motivate exploration of the scientific concept of energy. Students will use the scientific concept of energy to understand the physical, chemical and biological systems that power modern society. Students will also learn about aspects of the process of science and look at the engineering and policy decisions that lie at the intersection of science with technology and society.
