This course presents the foundational requirements for principles of auditing and the audit process. The course describes the foundation for the role of the independent auditor in the global economy, professional standards, planning the audit and designing audit programs, audit working papers, auditing specific financial statement categories, auditors reports and professional ethics. Topics also include advanced spreadsheets and database techniques.
