This course provides an in-depth exploration of quantitative methods and analytical techniques used to make better decisions in complex systems. Students will learn how to formulate and solve optimization problems, apply statistical methods, and utilize simulation techniques to analyze and improve operational processes. Topics covered include linear and nonlinear programming, integer programming and combinatorial optimization, stochastic models and decision analysis, simulation techniques and applications, and network flow problems and graph theory.
