ANES 808  - Adv. Pharm for Nurse Anesthesia II

The nurse anesthesia student will apply concepts learned from ANES 803 Pharm I to apply the changes in uptake, distribution, and excretion of anesthetic agents towards patient populations with varying comorbidities such as cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory, hematologic/inflammatory disorders, cancers and nervous system disruptions. Local anesthetics, lipid emulsions and muscle relaxants, anti and procoagulants will also be discussed.
