HCA 710  - Healthcare Simulation Case Analysis

This capstone course provides students with an integrative learning experience through a comprehensive analysis of a complex, real-world healthcare management scenario. Students will apply the full spectrum of healthcare administration competencies to a multi-faceted case study that simulates challenges facing contemporary healthcare leaders. Through collaborative case analysis, strategic problem-solving, and professional presentations, students will demonstrate mastery of Dominican values-based leadership, addressing organizational transformation, financial stewardship, operational excellence, and community health initiatives. The course emphasizes the synthesis of knowledge from across the MHA curriculum, critical thinking, and effective communication skills essential for success in healthcare leadership.

Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in MHA or MPH degree programs. Students must be enrolled in or have completed HCA 600 Healthcare Management and Systems.
