Never heard of Frodo, Gandalf, or the One Ring? No problem! Dive into J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings—an epic adventure of friendship, courage, and battles—and discover why it’s more than just a story. This course explores the big questions: What’s worth fighting for? What is free will so important? How do you face evil or fear? Can one person really make a difference? Guided by Tolkien’s use of faith and reason, we’ll unpack themes like good vs. evil, sacrifice, and hope, connecting them to your own life and beliefs. Through reading, watching the movies by Peter Jackson, and discussions you’ll see how this tale of hobbits and heroes speaks to today’s world—no prior knowledge needed!
