This course explores the principles and strategic applications of marketing and strategic management in healthcare organizations. Students will examine market analysis, competitive positioning, consumer behavior, and strategic planning within the context of a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. Key topics include strategic planning frameworks, market research, digital marketing, patient engagement strategies, mergers and acquisitions, value-based care models, and innovation in healthcare delivery. Emphasis is placed on data-driven decision-making, ethical marketing practices, and developing integrated strategies that drive organizational success while improving patient experience and health outcomes. Through case studies, competitive analysis, and hands-on strategic planning projects, students will develop comprehensive marketing and strategic management competencies tailored to healthcare settings.
