ENG 235 CX - Introduction to Poetry

This course examines a cross-section of English and American poetry from the late 16th century to the present day. Students will learn the specialized vocabulary appropriate to the discussion of poetry and will develop the analytical and critical thinking skills necessary to understanding and appreciating it.

Prerequisite(s): W tag or concurrent enrollment in W-tag course.
