RS 351 2D - Native American Spirituality 4 Credit(s)
An experiential and community-based survey of native religious traditions, exploring the breadth and depth of spiritual expression among native people in North America, with particular emphasis on the Anishinaabe bands of Wisconsin. Important themes include sacred landscapes, mythic narratives, oral histories, communal identities, tribal values, elder teachings, visionary experiences, ceremonial practices, prayer traditions, and trickster wisdom.
