Broad Field Natural Science, Civil Engineering Concentration, BS

This major is design for students who are interested in a career in Civil Engineering. This major is a collaborative partnership with Madison College. Courses in Civil Engineering Technology will be transferred to Edgewood from Madison College. Note: additional coursework may be required to earn a professional license in Civil Engineering Technology. See your advisor for details. 

Major Policies

A student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 in all courses taken to fulfill the major and concentration requirements. Any natural science or mathematics course in which the student received a grade below “CD” will not be accepted toward the major. Transfer students must take a minimum of 12 natural science credits that have either a BIO, CHEM, GEOS, NATS or PHYS prefix at Edgewood College.
