Minor Policies

A student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 in all courses taken to fulfill the minor. Any course in which a student receives a grade below “CD” will not be accepted toward the minor.

Minor Requirements

A minimum of 20 credits in Physics to include:

PHYS 130 S - General Physics I Minimum Credit(s) Awarded: 4
PHYS 131 S - General Physics II Minimum Credit(s) Awarded: 4
PHYS 230 - Problem Solving in Physics 1 Minimum Credit(s) Awarded: 1
PHYS 231 - Problem Solving in Physics 2 Minimum Credit(s) Awarded: 1
PHYS 360 X - Relativity & Quantum Mechanics Minimum Credit(s) Awarded: 4

Additional Requirements

Students will also need to take six (6) additional credits with a PHYS prefix.
