The Professional Educator: Generalist Concentration is for educators who would like to pursue continuing education leading to a master’s degree. The Generalist Concentration allows for a distributed focus, offering courses from across graduate program areas so students can tailor a sequence best suited to individualized goals.
Students will need to complete the 6-credit Research Core and the 9-credit Social Justice Core. Students will also need to complete 18 credits of electives selected from courses at the ED 600 level or above. Up to six credits may be applied from courses at the 600 level or above from graduate programs outside of the School of Education.
