Political Science majors learn how to analyze and evaluate political behavior, power, conflict, ideologies, laws, policies and institutions.

Many of our Political Science majors go on to engage in public service and serve as community and political leaders. The general PS major is intended to give students a broad and well-rounded exposure to political science topics while also allowing a focus on areas of greatest interest.
