The Theatre Arts major requires 52 credits: 35 credits in the Theatre Core, plus 17 credits from Theatre Arts and other approved courses from across the curriculum that provide a customized pathway for each individual student’s academic goals.

Pathway Credits: Remaining 17 Credits

The department of Theatre Arts has curated over 50 courses from 11 different departments as potential theatre major’s elective credits. These courses are from Theatre Arts Department and many other Edgewood College Departments that can provide an academic path or a career goal for students in theatre, and are individualized for each student. Working with your theatre advisor, theatre majors will customize the remaining 17 credits of their study to meet their interests and goals. These pathways include, but are not limited to:

Theatre Design and Technical Theatre in sets, props, costumes, hair & make-up, sound, lights and more
