This concentration is designed to prepare students for careers in health fields (such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physician assistant and physical therapy), industry, business, law; or graduate school in biochemistry or molecular biology. Careful consultation with an advisor is recommended.
Policies
A student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 in all courses taken to fulfill the major and concentration requirements. Any natural science or mathematics course in which a student receives a grade of below “CD” will not be accepted toward the major. Transfer students must take a minimum of 12 chemistry credits at Edgewood College. All transfer courses must be approved by the department.
