Business Administration, Accounting Concentration, MBA


The Business Administration, Accounting Concentration, MBA program prepares graduates to assume the role of leader within an Accounting setting.  This concentration is beneficial for those who will take on leadership responsibilities such as budget creation and oversight, contract negotiation, and cost analysis and management.  

Note: Completion of this program does not ensure eligibility for Wisconsin CPA examinations.

MBA Program Requirements


Students seeking the MBA must complete all required core courses along with one area of concentration.

Foundational Requirements


Students should meet with advisor to determine foundational needs. Newly admitted students without an Undergraduate Business major can waive out of a 1-credit Foundational Course based on either (1) Admissions reviewing their UG transcript to ensure course has already been taken or (2) testing out of the course. Foundational courses should be taken simultaneously with MBA core classes with advisor approval.
