Chemistry, Pharmacy Concentration, BS

This program allows Edgewood Students who have completed the set of coursework in the major to sit for an admission interview through the School of Phramacy at Concordia University of Wisconsin (CUW).  Students who enter CUW’s Pharmacy program would then transfer their first year of CUW coursework back to Edgewood College to complete their degree.

Major Policies

A student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 in all courses taken to fulfill the major and concentration requirements.  Any course in which a student receives a grade below “CD” will not be accepted toward the major. Transfer students must take a minimum of 12 chemistry credits at Edgewood College. All transfer courses must be approved by the department.

Pharmacy Coursework


Students must fulfill all general education and pre-pharmacy requirements and complete 90 credit hours prior to admission to CUW’s pharmacy school.  Following completion of the first year of coursework, students will transfer their pharmacy coursework to Edgewood to complete their degree.  No grades below a CD will be accepted toward the major from this transfer coursework.
