Child and Family Studies, BS

This major is designed for students who wish to study children from infancy through adolescence. The coursework focuses on the psychosocial, developmental, and behavioral aspects of children while examining their social, cultural, and family systems. This major will prepare students for employment post bachelor’s degree in early childhood programs, nonprofits, at-risk youth community-based programs, and recreation facilities. It can also be an excellent preparatory program for those students interested in pursuing graduate level degrees in health sciences, nursing, psychology, child life, and education.
