Exercise Science is the study of human response and adaption to exercise, and focuses on the underlying mechanisms that affect exercise. This program integrates many disciplines such as human anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, nutrition, strength and conditioning, exercise prescription and assessment, as well as social and behavioral science.
GPA Requirement: A student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher in ALL courses used to fulfill the major requirements (courses listed on Degree Audit). Only courses in which the student receives a grade of CD or better will be accepted toward the major.
