The following are required courses. A 2.5 GPA in Mathematics courses is required.
Additional Mathematics Coursework
Students are required to complete five additional math courses from the list below, chosen with consent of the student’s academic advisor. Students must choose at least one course from each of the pairings: Analysis Pairing, Algebra Pairing, and Geometry Pairing.

Further Study
Students planning further study and a career in the actuarial field are encouraged to:
- Substitute STAT 311 at the UW-Madison for MATH 121, in consultation with their academic advisor.
- Take additional coursework through the Collaborative Program to support their goals
- Pursue one or more internships in Actuarial Science.
- Explore the Capstone Certificate Program in Actuarial Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
- Take the actuarial Exam P shortly after completing MATH 351
