Substance Abuse Counseling

The Substance Abuse Counseling Minor provides students with the 360 hours of education required by the State of Wisconsin to obtain the professional license, Substance Abuse Counselor (this credential is issued by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services). Holders of this credential are qualified to diagnose and treat substance use disorders and are eligible for employment in the SAC profession in Wisconsin.
