COR 231L - London: Theatre &Art History Travel

This interdisciplinary, experiential course consists of two parts: The first (COR 230) is conducted in weekly meetings during the Fall semester.  This course, COR 231L, is the second part, which travels to London, England, during the Winterim term.

COR 230 will offer an introduction to the study of theater and art history, and to the social, cultural, and artistic history of London. With our particular focus on social change, gender struggles, economic and racial justice, immigration, and multiculturalism, we help students analyze cross-cultural issues that will be embedded in the meaningful community-based travel experience of COR 231L. Course participants will engage in readings and research relating to some aspect of our planned experience and will present this research to the class. Cross-listed GS 371
