Education, Professional Educator: English as a Second Language (ESL) Concentration, MA/Non-Licensing


The Professional Educator: English as a Second Language (ESL)  Concentration is for educators who would like to pursue continuing education leading to a master’s degree. The ESL Concentration allows for a primary focus on English as a Second Language education, while also offering courses from across graduate program areas so students can tailor a sequence best suited to individualized goals. 

Program Requirements


Students will need to complete the 6-credit Research Core and the 9-credit Social Justice Core. Students will also need to complete 12 credits selected from English as a Second Language (ESL) courses at the ED 600 level or above, and 6 credits of any ED 600-level or above coursework that is not a part of the concentration.
