Elementary Education, BA

Major Overview

The bachelor’s degree and licensing program is a popular program designed for students interested in careers as teachers in kindergarten through ninth grade. Our graduates earn two licenses in this program: a license to teach elementary education and a license to teach English as a Second Language, leading to a rewarding career in education. The program combines content coursework with pedagogy and rich clinical experiences in schools. It has been designed as a cohort structure and leads to a degree and license within four years. If you have additional questions around navigating your path to becoming a teacher, please contact your education advisor.
