The Educational Leadership Program focuses on developing culturally and linguistically responsive educational leaders. The program highlights restorative justice practices, social justice, and educational equity. The coursework is designed to encompass the Seven Wisconsin Administrator standards and to promote critical thinking through the lens of ethical leadership.

For licensure plus a master’s degree in educational leadership, add the following courses:

Educational Leadership, Principal, Licensing
The Principal License requires the completion of a Master’s Degree; students not currently holding a Master’s Degree must also complete the Master of Arts in Education: Educational Leadership Concentration.
Licensing Sequence Requirements
Educational Leadership, Director of Instruction, Licensing
The Director of Instruction License requires the completion of a Master’s Degree; students not currently holding a Master’s Degree must also complete the Master of Arts in Education: Educational Leadership Concentration.
Licensing Sequence Requirements
Educational Leadership, Director of Special Education and Pupil Services, Licensing
The Director of Special Education and Pupil Services License requires the completion of a Master’s Degree; students not currently holding a Master’s Degree must also complete the Master of Arts in Education: Educational Leadership Concentration.

Educational Leadership, School Business Administrator, Licensing
The School Business Administrator License requires the completion of a Master’s Degree; students not currently holding a Master’s Degree must also complete the Master of Arts in Education: Educational Leadership Concentration .
