Film Studies Minor

The Film Studies minor is designed to introduce students to the study of film and the elements and techniques that contribute to the creation of film.
The Film Studies minor will require a minimum of eighteen (18) credits, to include:

Film Studies Minor Techniques in Film Making Requirement
Students will choose one of the following courses:Â NOTE: THA 385 must focus on techniques applicable to film, as determined by the student’s film minor advisor and the Theatre Arts Department. Elective Courses in Film Studies
Select a minimum of nine (9) elective credits from the following: NOTE: THA 379, THA 379, and ENG 245 must focus on film, as determined by the student’s film minor advisor and the Theatre Arts Department. Other courses offered college wide with a focus on film could be applied to the film minor, as determined by the film minor advisor in the Theatre Arts Department. |
