Art Certificate


Overview

This certificate offers students the ability to develop their creativity, knowledge, and skills in Studio Art and/or Art History with a focus of their choosing.

Policies

The Certificate of Art may be completed by any Edgewood College undergraduate student or non-degree seeking student who is not a declared Art Department Major or Minor. 

At least 9 of the credits must be completed within the Edgewood College Art Department.

Students may declare the certificate by filling out and signing a declaration form with the Art Department Chairperson.

Courses do not include: Extended Studio, Internships, Independent Studies, Senior Seminars, Art Therapy courses, Art and Design Teaching courses.

Students pursuing an Art Department Major or Minor are not eligible to also receive the Art Certificate.

Note: Non-degree seeking students must be enrolled for credit and are not eligible for financial aid if they pursue the certificate alone.
